Bezzera Publishes Its Parts Catalogues. We Said It Did Not.
Bezzera publishes spare parts catalogues openly, with document codes and revisions. One runs to 136 part numbers and splits by manufacture date. We had recorded this brand as the hardest refusal in our survey.
Bezzera publishes spare parts catalogues on its own website, openly, with no login. We had this brand recorded as the hardest refusal in a 28-brand survey, harder than Jura, on the grounds that its portal gates user manuals as well as parts. That was our strongest single claim about a maker withholding documentation and it was wrong.
The useful part is not that we were wrong. It is why the first check produced a confident wrong answer, and what the second check did differently, because a reader can run the second one against any brand we have never touched.
Why the first check was confident and wrong
We read Bezzera’s website. The route to documentation is a portal at spareparts.bezzera.it, and it presents three modes: manuals, media, and spare parts. All three land on the same login form. There is no registration link on any of them, only a login and a password reset in Italian. Credentials are issued, not requested.
That is a strong finding and it is still true. A reader arriving through the front door hits a wall on all three document classes, and cannot even ask for a key.
The error was concluding that the wall was the whole story. A maker’s site menu is built for buyers. It leads to machines, dealers and a contact form. The catalogues a technician needs sat on the same server the whole time, in a directory called Catalogo-ricambi-macchine, which is Italian for machine spare parts catalogue, and nothing in the navigation points at it.
What the second check was
Search the maker’s own domain rather than reading its menu, in the language the maker files its documents in.
The query is ordinary: restrict a search engine to bezzera.it and ask for esploso or ricambi. That is what surfaced the directory. The Quick Mill diagram we found the same way was filed under ESPLOSO. Searching in English would have found neither.
We ran this against 26 of the 28 brands in the survey as of 26 August 2026, and 13 moved. Every one moved toward a larger document set and not one turned out to publish less than we had recorded. The method was also pointed at Jura, and at Gaggia, Rocket, Breville and De’Longhi, and all five held, which is what makes the thirteen a measurement rather than a tally.
What is in the catalogues
We read the Unica catalogue in full: 11 pages, 136 part numbers, laid out as position, code and description. 5071733LLR MIRROR BODYWORK W/LOGO. 7816002 SCREW TCEI M4X12 UNI 5931 A2. 7432523.02 PRESSURE GAUGE D40 16BAR.
It carries the maker’s own document identity on every page: COD.9942055.04 - REV.00 ed.01/26. A code, a revision and an edition date, which is what lets you tell one issue of a document from another.
It also names a component maker. 7731025.01 VIBRATION PUMP OLAB PLUS 100V. That is a supplier attribution on a specific part, and it is rare: of the parts catalogues we have read across this survey, most name no supplier at all.
The part that matters if you are holding a machine
Bezzera splits one model’s parts by manufacture date.
The Unica catalogue contains UNICA TABLE 7 - (from 01/05/2023) and, separately, UNICA TABLE 7 - (up to 30/04/2024). Same model, same table number, two different parts lists, divided by when the machine was built.
Nothing else in 32 articles on this site carries that. Every other maker that publishes parts organises them by model, and a model name is the finest distinction available. Bezzera’s own record is finer than that, which means a part identified by model alone may be the wrong part for your machine.
If you are ordering against this catalogue, the build date is not optional context. It is part of the identifier.
Three of the five indexed catalogues are gone
Search still lists five Bezzera catalogues. Two serve and three return 404.
Serving: unica-9942055.04-rev.00-ed.01_26 and victoria-brewing-profile-restyle-9942085-rev01-ed.06_26. Returning 404: arcadia-pid-9942069-rev01-ed.06_26, luce-9942081-rev05-ed.02_26 and otto-9942074-rev02-ed.12_25.
We checked those with a ranged request rather than a HEAD, because a HEAD gave a misleading split, and the 404s are real. A document a maker publishes and then removes leaves its search result behind, and for a reader that is indistinguishable from a broken site until they click.
What this does to the survey’s counts
Bezzera moving changes figures we publish elsewhere, so they are restated here with what produced them.
Four of 28 brands publish parts documents openly: La Marzocco, La Pavoni, Bezzera and Crem. Twenty-four of 28 make no parts document available to a public reader. Those two are complements and sum to 28, which is the cheapest check on either.
Three of 28 makers state a refusal about parts in their own published words: Jura, Synesso and Siemens. That set has changed three times since this survey began, and once the count held while the membership changed underneath it, which is the kind of thing a check comparing only counts would pass. Slayer and Ascaso both left it on 27 August 2026: Slayer’s quote routes parts ordering and Ascaso’s refuses access to a trade area, and neither is a statement about publishing documents.
Counts derived 26 August 2026 from 28 brand rows. Every count here is a lower bound: search indexes are themselves incomplete, and this survey reports what it found.
What the searches say
bezzera unica carries 140 a month and bezzera parts 20. bezzera spare parts, bezzera bz10 parts and bezzera manual carry 10 each.
Twelve of the seventeen phrases we checked were never measured at all, including bezzera parts catalogue, bezzera exploded view and espresso machine parts by production date. Not one came back measured at zero. Never measured and measured at zero are different facts: the first means nobody has counted, the second means somebody counted and found nothing.
One result worth noting. Across bezzera parts and bezzera spare parts, every top organic result is a retailer: 1st-line, Ampto, Rebel Parts, Espresso Coffee Shop, Blue Star Coffee. bezzera.it appears once, pointing at its homepage. The maker publishes these catalogues openly and its own directory does not rank for its own parts queries, which is a large part of why nobody had noticed them.
Provider DataForSEO, Google Ads keyword planner, United States, English, read 26 August 2026. Modelled figures, not observed traffic. SERP read the same day, 10 of 10 organic results on topic for all three queries.
