Philips 1200 and 2200, What the Documents Separate
The Philips 1200 range contains six model codes and the 2200 contains ten. A specification leaflet was obtained for one of the sixteen, and this page names which.
The Philips 1200 range contains six model codes and the 2200 range contains ten, so a comparison between the two names covers sixteen machines rather than two.
The model codes in each range
Both ranges appear in one official document, the EU Declaration of Conformity EDC 1008, issued by DAP B.V. and dated Drachten, July 2026.
| Range | Model codes | Count |
|---|---|---|
| 1200 series | EP1200, EP1220, EP1221, EP1222, EP1223, EP1224 | 6 |
| 2200 series | EP2220, EP2221, EP2223, EP2224, EP2225, EP2230, EP2231, EP2232, EP2235, EP2236 | 10 |
Checked 13 August 2026. DAP B.V. is the legal manufacturer named on the declaration and Philips is the brand.

Units are printed in a column separate from their values on this leaflet, and the pairing above follows column order. It is unambiguous for 120 V, 15 Bar and 246x371x433 mm.
What the leaflet establishes about the 1200 range
The 1200 machine documented here has no milk carafe, and its milk system is a Classic Milk Frother rather than LatteGo.
That is the clearest documented difference between this machine and the 3200 range machine covered elsewhere on this site. The EP3241/54 leaflet, version 3.3.2, states Milk Solution: LatteGo and a carafe capacity of 0.26 L. The EP1220/04 leaflet states X for carafe capacity, meaning none.
The two machines are otherwise documented identically on tank, hopper, pump pressure, cord length, spout height, waste container and filter compatibility. The weight differs by 0.5 kg, 7.5 against 8.
What this page does not state
No leaflet was obtained for any machine in the 2200 range, so no 2200 specification is quoted here.
Six of eleven Philips document URLs requested on 13 August 2026 returned HTTP 404, and both EP2220/14 and EP2220/10 were among them. The counting rule: a URL counts as failed when a request with ordinary browser headers returns a status other than 200 with a PDF body.
A comparison table with one side filled in is not a comparison. The 2200 codes are named above from the declaration because the declaration lists them. Their specifications are not, because no document carrying them was retrieved.
What is identical wherever it was checked
Pump pressure is 15 Bar on every Philips leaflet obtained, and on the Gaggia, Breville and De’Longhi machines documented elsewhere on this site. It separates nothing.
