Philips 3200 and 3300, What the Documents Separate

The Philips 3200 range contains seven model codes and the 3300 contains nine. A leaflet was obtained for one of the sixteen, and this page states which.

The Philips 3200 range contains seven model codes and the 3300 range contains nine, so a comparison between the two range names is a comparison between sixteen machines rather than two.

Two lists, one of model codes and one of what a range name does not tell you.
The model codes a Philips declaration lists for one range, against what the range name alone identifies.

The model codes in each range

Both ranges are listed in one official document, the EU Declaration of Conformity EDC 1008, issued by DAP B.V. and dated Drachten, July 2026.

Units in that leaflet are printed in a separate column from their values, and the pairing above follows column order. It is unambiguous for 120 V, 15 Bar and 246x371x433 mm, and should be confirmed against the PDF before any figure is relied on.

What this page does not state

No leaflet was obtained for any machine in the 3300 range, so no 3300 specification is quoted here.

Six of eleven Philips document URLs requested on 13 August 2026 returned HTTP 404, including every URL found for the 3300 range. The support pages for EP3341/50 and EP3341/50R0 return HTTP 200 and are JavaScript rendered, so their document links could not be read automatically.

A comparison table with one side filled in is not a comparison, and inventing the other side from a range name would be exactly the inference this site does not publish.

What can be said about the difference

One difference between neighbouring Philips ranges is documented across the leaflets that were obtained, and it concerns the milk system rather than the brewing hardware.

The EP1220/04 leaflet, version 3.3.1 issued 2023-07-17, states Milk Solution: Classic Milk Frother and records the milk carafe capacity as X, meaning none. The EP3241/54 leaflet states Milk Solution: LatteGo and a carafe capacity of 0.26 L. The two machines share an identical tank, hopper, pump pressure, cord length, spout height and waste container.

Whether the same pattern separates 3200 from 3300 is not established by any document obtained here.

What is identical everywhere it was checked

Pump pressure is 15 Bar on every Philips leaflet obtained, as it is on the Gaggia, Breville and De’Longhi machines documented elsewhere on this site. It differentiates nothing between models and is not a point of comparison.

How this page is sourcedManufacturer documentation reference

Espresso & Machines documents what espresso manufacturers publish. Every specification is taken from a manufacturer instruction book, service manual, declaration of conformity, or product leaflet, cited by document name, revision and URL, and dated to the day it was read. Nothing here is a test result, a measurement, or a personal impression. Where a manufacturer publishes nothing on a question, the page says so instead of estimating.
